Anna and Eugene are what you would call a modern love story - meeting online and playing it cool to family and friends making up the story “we met at work.” Which wasn’t a lie, they did indeed work together at Kohler in Sheboygan, WI. How they actually may have come out during the Maid of Honor’s toast…oops (and can see the bride and grooms reaction below)! They dated for five years before he popped the question in Prague over New Years.
After much thought, they decided to tie the knot at The Kimpton Journeyman in the heart of the Third Ward Downtown Milwaukee on a beautiful crisp fall day. Eugene is actually originally from Latvia, so some of his family flew overseas to join on their special day and had Latvian elements incorporated throughout the day. Everything from Grandm'a’s hand sewn handkerchief, custom bow on Anna’s dress, Eugene’s family heirloom ring he proposed to Anna with, to the Kohler bathtub and tile favors, it was all thoughtfully planned out and turned out remarkably. They are two of the sweetest people and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for their future together as Mr. and Mrs.
