1. Does the space have a lot of window light?! Natural light always makes for the prettiest photos.

2. What’s the decor like? Always find a space that has neutral colored walls + minimal decor. We don’t want too much going on in the photo! The focus should be YOU (the bride) and your girls, not the decor or the room!

3. How far is it from where you getting married or taking photos? Choose a location that makes the travel easy. Maybe that means booking a hotel room or an Airbnb near the wedding venue instead of getting ready at your house that’s 30 minutes away from the venue location. Less travel time, means more time for photos!

4. Keep the space clean + organized! I typically ask everyone to pick their things up before I arrive because the last thing we want is bunch of random things in the background of the photos!

5. Is the room big enough?! Make sure you’ve got plenty of room for everyone you’ve invited to help you get ready! The getting ready photos are some of my favorite to take but if the room is small, you’ll definitely miss out on some great photo opportunities!!
